Founding Product Engineer

Apply for this role

We are building self-driving ERP implementations. Today, consultants already give the hands-on work in a project to superglue’s AI agents. The agents move the client’s data, configure the new system and check the result. Our goal is an implementation that runs from kickoff to go-live on its own, while consultants set the direction and approve the work. Coding agents write most of our own code, so we plan to keep the engineering team small. This may be the last product engineer we hire. You will own a large part of the product and decide how self-driving implementations work for the consultants who use them.

What matters most

We look for three things. Tell us where you have shown each of them in your work so far.

Ownership

You take a problem from the first customer conversation until it works in production, and you stay responsible for it after that. Nobody has to follow up with you. When something breaks, you find the cause and fix it, also when the cause is in code you did not write.

Judgment

You decide what to build and what to leave out. You know when a fast fix is enough and when the problem needs a deeper change. You check your own work before you ship it, and you can explain why you made each decision.

Communication

You write and speak clearly and directly. Customers, consultants and the team understand what you did, what is still open and what you need from them. You say early when you disagree or when a plan does not work.

What you will do

  • Build complete features across the agent, the backend and the web app.
  • Give the agents better tools, context and skills so that they finish real implementation tasks in systems such as NetSuite, Business Central, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks.
  • Work directly with ERP partners and their consultants, and turn what you learn on their projects into product changes.
  • Design the screens where consultants follow, check and approve the work of the agents.
  • Make verification automatic, so that agents test your changes in the browser and against real systems before you ship them.

How we work

  • Most code is written by coding agents that you steer. You are responsible for the result.
  • You own your pull request and your feature from start to end. We do not hold up work with review queues.
  • We are a small team in one office in Munich. We decide quickly and talk in person.

What you bring

  • A record of building and shipping software products in TypeScript or a similar language.
  • Experience building with large language models, and opinions about how to make agents reliable.
  • Care for the product. You use what you build and notice when something is confusing for the user.
  • The wish to work full time from our office in Munich.

Experience with ERP systems or implementation projects helps, but it is not required.

Compensation

Total compensation is €120,000 to €150,000 per year. This includes meaningful equity.
